I want to thank each of you for continuing to remember my Dad, Lloyd Claiborne, and his health situation, during these past months. It means so much to know that there are many on their knees remembering us. Also, thank you for all the cards and emails encouraging us through these days. Your prayers are being answered in so many ways ... it is hard to be away from home when things are happening with your family, but know that God has given me an unexplainable peace about this situation and I know that He is in control!
My Dad has now received approval from the heart doctor, and his carotid artery surgery has been rescheduled for April 28th in Raleigh, with pre-op on April 22nd. Please continue to pray for strength and comfort for him, as he is still very nervous about the procedure. Also pray that he will not suffer any complications or stroke before the surgery can be performed. As with any blockages, risks are present, and they have been warned about that also.
