This last month has had its share of challenges. Several situations have come up that make us feel like we’re taking three steps back for every one step forward. One of Todd’s best friends, who Todd has been leading in a Bible study for over 6 months, came over to our home wearing amulets (indicating participation in witchcraft for healing). It was discouraging.
Todd was able to show his friend where the Bible speaks about putting our trust in God alone, but not all challenges are so simply addressed. Please continue to pray for us to have wisdom and patience in our lives and in our work here.
We love the opportunity God has given us to serve Him here in Swaziland through challenges and triumphs. We are currently focusing our energy on finishing the Bible study materials to be ready for training events led by the Baptist Mission in December. We are thankful to all of those who are helping us edit and translate the materials into siSwati.
