We are requesting prayer for Wayne’s youngest brother, Larry who was admitted to the hospital on the 19th with pulmonary edema. We received this email from Wayne’s sister Patsy:
Larry is in the hospital, South ICU, Lynda took him in about 10:30 last night (19th) 10 minutes later he coded. By the time I got there, he was interbated and going down fast. They slowed him down enough to take a cat scan. he coded twice there and once after they got him back to his room. Got him stable enough to move him to ICU where they found that he had had a flash pulmonary edema. Something caused a rush of fluid into his lungs. In ICU he had several seizures before they could get his stats good enough with loads of medicines. The worst thing is his temp stayed 104 for 3 or 4 hours. Hit over 106 later. Now they are checking for brain activity.
Patsy just phoned and to give us an update. He had another seizure and the meds are keeping his blood pressure up. The situation seems to be quite critical and the family will definitely appreciate your prayer support.
Please pray, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
